This free phonebook has been distributed every December since 1994 to the Japanese expat and student community in Washington and Oregon. Over the years, circulation has grown to 25,000 copies, and the handy-sized phone book has become a must-have for the Japanese community. The book contains more than 5,000 listings in the region for public services, companies, shops, restaurants and more. It also contains detailed explanations of Social Security, public transportation and other topics that might not be familiar to newly arriving visitors.
